Day 5 - Blog Tripping

This is the last day of the trip and this is the time to showcase what Dubai has to offer.

Dubai is nestled in the Arabian peninsula. It is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. It's known for its grandeur in infrastructure like the tallest building in the world - Burj Dubai (see my photo below, the tall building behind me is the Burj Dubai),
the only 7-stars hotel - Burj Al Arab, the first man-made palm islands in Jumeirah, Jebel Ali and Deira, the mini-world reclamation in the Arabian peninsula, etc. Also known for the ridiculously high prices in rent, maniac drivers, gold, dates (the fruit), dessert safaris and the ubiquitous malls in almost every corner of the city.

If you are transiting in Dubai and would like to see the city in a snap, just take the Big Bus city tour with open-tops. However, if you intend to visit the place, I would suggest coming here around October to April where the weather is permissible - cool and breezy and comfortable too! You can go to the dessert safari which is a Bedouin-like camp with buffet and belly dancing. Another activity not to miss is the dinner cruises along the creek. Check out the gold souk too if you are into jewellery. If you plan to squander your money in one drop, then head to the malls. If it's indoor activity you are eyeing, go to the Mall of Emirates where the big indoor ski is. During winter time, you can take a hot-air balloon ride too but it's quite costly. You may want to take a dip in the Wild Wadi near the Burj Al Arab and while there, you may want to pose too for a great capture of the iconic landmark of Dubai.

This is my fave place of Dubai's finest - the Burj Al Arab.

Hope you enjoyed the trip!!! I did!
