I was hoping to shift to another line of expertise come 2010 but never expected the recession to be this long. My careers has entered a plateau. I have been in my current post for more than 6 years. I have been in the same company since I arrived here in Dubai for almost 10 years! I have actually over-shoot my record of staying in a firm for only 5 years and then on to my next job.
The situation right now is not very promising for a career move. I think I will wait and see the recession dust settles.
