A Short Prayer Poem

I wrote this prayer/poem a while ago while staring out of the window. Stream of thoughts just came flowing in my head and I started to tinker away on the laptop. I offer this prayer/poem to our Mother Earth. It’s very short but I guess the message is quite clear.

I stare outside my window,
Not a single tree in sight.
I wonder if nature’s might
Has turned itself to hollow.
I lie in bed praying
To spare the world tonight
And for the days that would follow
Our world be more bright.
