History of Ionized Water
Water ionization was discovered by Michael Faraday, a pioneer of electrical energy in the early 1900s. It was not recent that this water ionization was raised to a different level by the scientists. Scientists were baffled as to why the people of Hunzas of the Andes Mountains, certain areas in Shin-Chan China, and Causcasus of Azerbaijan lived healthy long lives. In 1960, a medical and agricultural research institute was appointed to investigate the legitimacy of ionized water. In 1966, the Health and Rehabilitation Ministry of the Japanese Government acknowledged the alkaline water ionizer as a legitimate medical device beneficial for improving human health.
The use of water ionizers and research on their benefits expanded extensively in Japan and Korea.
